“paralyzed” — a visual experience about the decay of the human psyche. Depression affects the quality of life and mental health of those affected and is one of the most common mental illnesses.
The installation intends to create a certain image of society and convey emotions, stimulate thoughts as well as educate about depression.

The main component of the installation are real-time graphics and short-time EEG brain waves, which are fundamental for the visual and auditory design of the installation.

In combination with an analogue documentation, including my thought process, and the technical implementation, the viewer can gain an understanding of the development of depression.
